Community Outreach

Giving back is in our DNA
For more than 130 years, Coghlin Companies has been dedicated to giving back to the community we live and work in, actively supporting local and national health, educational and social service organizations. Our passionate culture of teamwork and giving back extends beyond the workplace to the generous actions of our Caring Associates, who have donated their time, energy and resources to help strengthen our community as a whole.

5C: Coghlin Companies Caring Corporate Citizen

The Coghlin Companies Caring Corporate Citizen, or “5C” Program, was launched in 2016 to further our companies’ mission of community involvement, volunteerism and philanthropy.  Through the 5C Program, our Caring Associates can nominate the charitable and philanthropic organizations that are most important to them for a chance to be awarded company-sponsored financial support and earn recognition for their community involvement. Previous recipients include the Pat Brody Shelter for Cats, ALS Association, Hope Live Here, Boy Scouts of America, Honor Flight New England, and Bikers Against Child Abuse.

Coghlin Companies and United Way

For many years, Coghlin Companies has run an extensive United Way Campaign, raising funds to support a variety of educational, health and family stability programs. In addition, we participate in the United Way Annual Day of Caring, where our team has invested hundreds of hours in volunteer work, directly impacting our local community in the areas they need it most.

Charitable Drives

Coghlin Companies holds a variety of charitable drives and events each year, bringing our Caring Associates together to participate in food, clothing and toy drives to help those in need in our community. We have partnered with organizations including Pernet Family Health Services, Toys for Tots and Andy’s Attic. We wholeheartedly believe the joy is in the giving, and are proud that community involvement is a cornerstone of our culture.
