Yankee Dental Congress is the largest meeting for dental professionals in New England. This year, nearly 28,000 people visited the Congress to enhance their education and discover new products and services related to the dental industry. Chris Coghlin, President and CEO, Chris Palermo, CFO, Matt Giza, VP and GM of Cogmedix, and Ron Berube, Cogmedix Project Manager, attended the trade show to support two Coghlin Companies contract manufacturing service clients, BING Innovations and Convergent Dental.

BING Innovations, a Columbia Tech client, developed the DentalVibe—an award-winning multipurpose device designed to reduce pain and fear associated with dental injections, such as Novocain, for adults and children. It works by delivering soothing, pulsed percussive micro-oscillations to the site where the injection is being administered and effectively blocks pain.

Convergent Dental, a Cogmedix customer, is the developer of Solea—the first CO2 laser system cleared by the FDA for hard and soft tissue ablation. The device nearly eliminates the drill from dental procedures and is generally anesthesia-free. Solea is also the first Computer Aided Preparation (CAP) system in dentistry.

Coghlin Companies is proud to be a part of bringing these two incredibly innovative products to market and support the companies in their success.
