Once again, the caring associates of Coghlin Companies gave back to their community in the form of 573 pounds of boxed and canned goods donations, along with grocery store gift cards totaling over $100 to Pernet Family Health Service. Good job associates!
John McCabe, Volunteer Coordinator of Holiday Programs, said “For the past several years, the associates of Coghlin Companies have donated food to Pernet Family Health Service’s Thanksgiving Food Program. Pernet’s program provides the ingredients for a complete Thanksgiving meal to over 300 of Worcester’s neediest families. This year’s Coghlin Companies donation is once again one of our largest!
Pernet’s staff and families are sincerely grateful. Thank you to all of you and especially to Nora Leonard for organizing the food drive.”
While you are giving thanks during the wonderful meal you will share with family and friends, please remember to say a prayer for the less fortunate, and give thanks that you were able to help some of them enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner as well.
