The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Worcester Chapter conducted an educational tour at Cogmedix on Tuesday, April 19, to learn more about one of New England’s premier turnkey finished medical device contract manufacturing service providers. The tour group consisted of engineering students from WPI as well as 20+ year engineering veterans from several local companies including GE, Medtronic and Babcock Power. The tour, led by Cogmedix Director of Manufacturing Operations, Chad Burdick, was full of insightful questions and spirited conversations (as well as compliments on the facility’s cleanliness and organization).
