The Director of SPL™ and Program Management is responsible for driving Exceptional Customer Experiences from initial engagement, through Scaled Product Launch™, and throughout the full product lifecycle and relationship. The Scaled Product Launch and Program Management resources report into this roll and customer satisfaction is a critical metric, measured by our satisfaction surveys and direct customer feedback. Collaborating with peers, the Director of SPL™ and Program Management overseas all customer relationship dynamics and program success related to overall performance including, but not limited to on time delivery, gross margin, excess material, MRB, inventory and finished goods strategies, and more. As a senior leader, the Director of Scaled Product Launch and Program Management is also a champion of the Cogmedix motto, Cogmedix = Compliance. Certain accounts that have achieved revenue targets that justify dedicated cross functional resources may be separate from the responsibility of the Director of SPL™ and Program Management.  



  • Strategy and Leadership

  • Strategic Account Champion
  1. Maintains high level involvement of Strategic Accounts. 
  2. Reviews cross company activities and ties them together for key customers.
  3. Monitors and reports on key metrics.
  4. Continuously evolves strategy for account management and leadership.
  5. Visits Strategic Accounts and core leaders regularly.
  • Program Management
    1. Owns leadership of the Program Management group for accounts that do not directly report to the General Manager.
    2. Coaches staff and provides energetic and positive work environment.
    3. Establishes personal relationships with core leadership of all key customers; engages outside work time to strengthen client relationships.
    4. Responsible for the Program Management metrics (Excess Inventory, etc.).
    5. Champion for Cogmedix = Compliance.
  • SPL™ 
      1. Has overall leadership of Scaled Product Launch™ execution.
      2. Provides process improvement suggestions.
      3. Collaborates with CT resources and CX resources on stand alone accounts for best practices.
  • Business Development
      1. Supports the Business Development function for Cogmedix engineering and manufacturing opportunities.
      2. Support visits to key target accounts and supports the development of a win-win strategy on any opportunities Cogmedix pursues.
      3. Involved in the optimization of the quotation development process.
  • Performs other responsibilities as directed.


Essential Requirements:

    8. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a science or engineering discipline.  Significant and applicable professional experience may be considered in lieu of certain educational requirements. 
    9. 5+ years’ experience as a supervisor in a production environment, medical devices preferred.
    10. Strong ability to manage and lead people.
    11. Operations management software (ERP/MRP/MES/WMS) experience preferred.
    12. Working knowledge of cGMP, FDA QSR, ISO 13485, SOP’s, work rules and safety guidelines highly desirable.
    13. Decisive leadership skills and the ability to prioritize multiple functions to meet required deadlines and delight customers.
    14. Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
    15. Ability to read and understand detailed instructions, manufacturing procedures, and drawings.
    16. Knowledge of assembly and test methods.
    17. Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.  
    18. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
