Under limited supervision, self-motivated individual shall perform duties in packaging, labeling, and tracking of outgoing jobs and components.  Candidate must also accurately track and log locations of internal inventory; reporting said locations to pertinent departments when necessary.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing physical and administrative tasks involved in the handling, transacting, receiving, and storage of inventory assets of the company.
  • Pack all orders/jobs to customer specifications as well as Columbia Tech procedural standards.
  • Close jobs in MRP system as well as in Aegis.
  • Accurate counting and verifying of PCB product incoming to pack area from production floor on a daily basis.
  • Prepares required shipping labels, addresses, documents and certifications accurately.
  • Confirm and match serial numbers based on customer requirements or company need.
  • Accurately transact and move boards and/or jobs to necessary locations to facilitate timely and expedient shipping.
  • Assist Production Management Team with cross-training associates to support PCBA Packing/Shipping Department if necessary.


  • High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent experience.
  • Good math skills and basic computer knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills (bi-lingual a plus)
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Must be a self-starter and willing to learn.
  • Ready and willing to communicate inter-departmentally to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of required tasks


Working Environment

  • Approximately 90% of the work is to be performed in the pack out area and rest will be helping the production areas.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand for an extended amount of time, walk, and transport inventory manually. 
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
