Evaluates training needs and participates in the development and delivery of training materials for all company personnel, with particular focus on Manufacturing and Quality. Effectively implement strategic business objectives in driving quality and compliance.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in design, development, testing and implementation of new or updated training programs for on-the-job training requirements, company policies and practices, and safety.
  • Deliver classroom style training, tailoring presentation to specific audiences ranging from entry level to senior operations professionals.
  • Manage course logistics, including scheduling and publication of training classes and opportunities; collect, grade, and organize quiz material.
  • Develop training materials appropriate for subject matter; works with subject matter trainers where required.
  • Responsible for document management, including maintain training records, enter data to training database using Access, make copies of files and training records in a timely manner as requested.
  • Research and evaluate options for training materials, i.e., video, DVD, on-line curriculum; providing guidance on best alternatives.
  • Maintain, organize and track employee training plans and job descriptions.
  • Process training requests from Training “Help Desk.”
  • Keep current with training methodologies to support continuous improvement.
  • Other duties in Quality Department as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience developing and delivering training programs.
  • 3+ years’ relevant experience. 
  • The ideal candidate will possess a solid presentation/training background with experience in 
  • Mastery of platform training skills.
  • Strong computer skills, especially PowerPoint, Access, Word and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and or ISO13485 helpful.
  • Demonstrated hands-on approach to training, positive attitude and high energy.
  • Ability to work independently and in group settings.
  • Has high energy level, positive, creative, responsible approach to projects.

 

Working Environment

  • Generally works in an office environment, but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Must have a reliable form of transportation and ability to travel to other company locations.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when needed.
