At the recent, inaugural Manufacturing Excellence Awards, the WBJ announced that it would be creating a new forum for spreading awareness about manufacturing in Massachusetts: a manufacturing e-Newsletter beginning this month. Columbia Tech took home the award for Collaboration in Manufacturing at the awards ceremony and, with a featured profile of their top executive, is now one of the first contributors to the WBJ manufacturing e-Newsletter.

The Central Mass Manufacturing e-Newsletter will be delivered to subscriber inboxes every Tuesday afternoon; it will include breaking news and industry trends that affect local manufacturers. It will also provide weekly spotlight features in the form of interviews with industry experts. Columbia Tech is honored to have their president and CEO, Chris Coghlin, as the first spotlight feature in what will surely become a valuable resource to the manufacturing community in Massachusetts.

Supporting the Manufacturing Community through Collaboration and Conversation

As president of Columbia Tech, Chris Coghlin promotes and believes in a company-wide culture of “collaboration, communication, and creating lasting first impressions.” Columbia Tech is more than a contract manufacturer, providing comprehensive time-to-market services for their clients, including product development, manufacturing, system integration, global fulfillment, and aftermarket services to a highly diverse group of capital equipment innovation companies.

“We are continuously enhancing our business model to bring greater quantifiable value to our clients with a focus on commercializing new, innovative, capital equipment products leveraging scalable technology,” said Chris Coghlin. “We will continue to carefully listen to the needs of our client base, assess customer feedback, and stay on the cutting edge of the services required to create lasting first impressions and exceptional customer experiences.”
