Cogmedix, a wholly owned subsidiary of Coghlin Companies, Inc. and an FDA -compliant medical device engineering and manufacturing services provider, has promoted Scott Cook to Vice President of Quality and Compliance.

Cook will continue to report directly to Executive Vice President and General Manager, Matt Giza, as he leads all aspects of Cogmedix
‘s quality initiatives. Over the last five years, Cook has built a robust Quality System and a great team at Cogmedix, making it an organization from which all Caring Associates can learn and grow.
“Scott has been an instrumental leader in all respects-specifically in the development of our compliance-focused culture,” stated Matt Giza. “Scott has driven this culture by being accountable, caring, focusing on process control and by passionately mentoring and leading by example.”
Cook has over two decades of medical device and biopharmaceutical experience, working for companies including AstraZeneca, Biogen, Primedica Corporation and Charles River Laboratories. Past relevant positions involved CGMP (current good manufacturing practices), GLP (good laboratory practices), and GCP (good clinical practices). He holds a BS degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Biotechnology Technician Certificate from Quinsigamond Community College.
