Strategic Hires Further Enhance Coghlin Companies Time to Market

Coghlin Companies, Inc., a privately held firm specializing in engineering design, contract manufacturing, global fulfillment, and aftermarket service solutions, has made several strategic hires to broaden their contract manufacturing and engineering services capabilities adding enhanced value to the customer experience. “At Coghlin, we seek talented individuals who can bring immediate incremental value to our innovative “time to market” business model,” said Chris Coghlin, President and CEO of Coghlin Companies. “The depth of experience from these appointments allows us to raise the bar even further, ensuring successful outcomes for our customers.”

Daniel Puglisi has been hired as Director of Project Management at Coghlin Companies’ Columbia Tech division. Mr. Puglisi will be applying his engineering program management and lean manufacturing knowledge to guide projects through the New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process cost-effectively and timely. Dan holds a BS in Management from Plymouth State University and an MS in Technology Management from the University of New Hampshire.

Also new to Coghlin Companies is David Smiley who brings more than 20 years of information technology expertise to Coghlin Companies clients. Mr. Smiley has vast experience developing, installing and enhancing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and is responsible for streamlining the company’s business processes. David has degrees from Worcester State College (BS, Business Administration), University of Massachusetts-Amherst (MS, Management) and Boston University (MS, Computer Science).

Coghlin Companies’ DCI Engineering division is pleased to announce the promotion of Steve Strandberg to the role of Business Development Manager. Mr. Strandberg previously served as a Program Manager for DCI. Steve has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, an MBA from Clark University and a certificate in Project Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
