Coghlin Companies recently sponsored and attended the Joe Andruzzi Foundation Gratitude Gala, held at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. The event included super silent and live auctions, inspirational cancer survivor stories and a circus theme that had guests roaring for more! Representatives from all Coghlin Companies divisions, as well as key suppliers, were in attendance supporting the incredible work the Joe Andruzzi Foundation does.
The Foundation was started by former New England Patriots player, Joe Andruzzi and his wife Jen, after Joe’s battle with non-Hodgkins Burkitt’s lymphoma. During his battle with cancer, Joe witnessed the stress the disease can cause to patients and their families on a day to day basis. The Joe Andruzzi Foundation is dedicated to “providing financial assistance to patients and families, helping them focus on recovery – not bills. It also funds research at Boston Children’s Hospital, building on the Andruzzis’ longstanding commitment to cutting edge pediatric brain cancer research.”
The Gratitude Gala was an amazing success and raised $1 Million dollars to support cancer patients and their families during some of the toughest times of their lives.
