Chris Coghlin, President of Coghlin Companies, often uses the words “caring associates” to describe the employees of the Coghlin Companies. In 2013, Coghlin began a number of health-related initiatives to demonstrate to associates that caring goes both ways.
Early in 2013, we held our first employee health fair, coordinated by “Nan the Nurse” from Sullivan Benefits. Along with Nan and Sullivan Benefits, other participants included The 15-40 Connection, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Altus Dental, and Worcester Fitness.

Held during the workday at Coghlin facilities, associates from each Coghlin company were invited to stop by during the two-hour fair for free screenings, information, and prizes. The health fair educational tables and screenings included blood pressure screenings, stress dots, know your numbers education, percent body fat screenings, exercise, nutrition, cancer awareness, and smoking cessation information.
About 125 associates attended the health fair and we received positive feedback from many associates who said they are looking forward to future wellness programs and services. At Coghlin, our mission is to make the pursuit of health and wellness a priority for everyone.
